Join a private house party in an enchanting chateau.   Learn or simply observe with one of today's exceptionally talented  artists.

Peregrine Heathcote studied in Florence and now produces exquisite portraits in classical styles.  His portraits, landscapes and still lives are based on the classical drawing and painting techniques, using the study of light as a fundamental aspect in enhancing realism.  His paintings have deep, rich colours obtained by glazing - a way of painting which was practised by both Rembrandt and Velasquez.       View Paintings by Peregrine Heathcote >>

Spend a week savouring the delights of French cuisine in Aquitaine, South West France.    Tour some of the famous vineyards of the Bordeaux to Cahors regions,   sample the pleasures of wine tasting.   Explore the picturesque 12th century Bastide villages,  with or without paper and paintbrushes.

Otherwise, simple unwind and make use of the Chateau's swimming pool and floodlit tennis court.

Comfortable accommodation with en-suite bath or shower room.  £1250 per person.   Reduction for couples sharing a room, £200 each.     Numbers are limited,  available twice a year, usually in May and September.
