Historique :
Caractéristique des petits manoirs élevés au XVIe ou au début du XVIIe siècle sur les confins de l'Agenais. Logis d'origine du XVIe siècle, agrandi fin XVIe-début XVIIe siècle, puis courant XVIIIe siècle. Basse-cour et dépendance du XVIIe siècle.
Le manoir comporte un premier corps de logis datable de la 2e moitié du XVIe siècle, voire du début du XVIIe siècle, d'après le parti d'ensemble et ses 3 croisées à arêtes vives conservées. Un nouveau corps abritant l'escalier est adossé au précédent en 1677 et un mur de clôture est élevé la même année, d'après la date gravée sur l'agrafe de la porte d'entrée et dans un cartouche du portail ; ces travaux semblent réalisés pour Jean de Guilhem -qui teste en 1690- d'une famille protestante bien possessionnée dans les environs de Tournon. Une nette reprise montre que ce corps est agrandi, probablement durant la 1ère moitié du XVIIIe siècle, alors que quelques modifications sont apportées aux dépendances, dont témoigne la date 1734 figurant sur une pierre (en remploi ?) du portail extérieur de la dépendance intégrée à l'enceinte. Durant la 2e moitié du XVIIIe siècle, le domaine passe entre les mains des Montpezat de Poussou. L'extrémité nord-ouest du logis a été détruite et le mur d'enclos en partie arasé à une date indéterminé. L'ensemble a été restauré et transformé en gîte rural durant le 4e quart du XXe siècle par la famille Stuart-Bruges; le portail nord-ouest, daté 1886, est un remploi. La métairie a été construite dans le courant du XIXe siècle.

Characteristic of the small manors built in the 16th or early 17th century on the borders of Agenais. Original 16th century dwelling, enlarged in the late 16th-early 17th century, then during the 18th century. Lower courtyard and outbuilding from the 17th century.
The manor includes a first main building that can be dated to the 2nd half of the 16th century, or even the early 17th century, according to the overall layout and its 3 preserved sharp-edged windows. A new building housing the staircase was added to the previous one in 1677 and a boundary wall was built the same year, according to the date engraved on the clasp of the entrance door and in a cartouche of the portal; this work seems to have been carried out for Jean de Guilhem - who made a will in 1690 - of a well-endowed Protestant family in the vicinity of Tournon. A clear recovery shows that this body was enlarged, probably during the first half of the 18th century, while some modifications were made to the outbuildings, as evidenced by the date 1734 appearing on a stone (reused?) of the external gate of the outbuilding integrated into the enclosure. During the second half of the 18th century, the estate passed into the hands of the Montpezat de Poussou. The north-west end of the dwelling was destroyed and the enclosure wall partly razed at an unspecified date. The whole was restored and transformed into a rural gîte during the 4th quarter of the 20th century; the north-west gate, dated 1886, is a reused stone. The farmhouse was built during the 19th century.

Marriage Contract  - a marriage at Trichot in 1745 is recorded in this document, the original kept in municipal archives.
