Lilac Cottage, Allsaints Smallridge, Devon, England

Lilac Cottage with its pretty walled garden is situated in the middle of the attractive village of Smallridge, 2½ miles from the small market town of Axminster, near the South Devon coast. Lovely beaches, fishing and sailing are within a seven to ten mile radius at Lyme Regis, Charmouth & Seaton Hole. Exmouth, Exeter and Weymouth are also within easy reach. The whole area is very beautiful and an ideal centre from which to explore the West Country. Smallridge is on the borders of three counties, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.  Pets welcome, by arrangement.

The cottage, which was built of stone several hundred years ago, has thick walls and low ceilings. It stands by itself, in its own pretty walled & gated garden, and has a private drive and garage. It is most comfortable, with full oil fired central heating throughout. The cottage is fully furnished including colour TV and consists of:

• Drawing/Dining Room Oak beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace, oak front door opening into the garden.

• Kitchen Fitted oak units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, Microwave, kettle, toaster & iron. Fully equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, and attractive china and glass.

• Bedroom 1 Two 2ft 6in interior sprung divans, built-in cupboards.

• Bathroom 1 Bath with Shower, hand basin, low level WC., large airing cupboard with electric immersion heater (if you do not wish to use the oil-fired central heating boiler).

• Boiler Room Hanging cupboard, garden sink H & C, automatic washing machine, door to garden.

Attractive stone stairs leading to:

• Bedroom 2 Double bed, fitted cupboards, exposed beams, leading to:

• Bedroom 3 Two bunk beds, chest of drawers, exposed beams.

• Bathroom 2 Low level WC. and hand basin.

All beds have interior sprung mattresses and are supplied with duvets, pillows and bedspreads. There is also a child's playpen cot which may be put up, if needed.

Linen and towels are not provided, but may be hired by prior arrangement with the housekeeper.
